The death of LEUNG’s mother has unwittingly brought about the reconciliation between LEUNG and SUM. With SUM by his side, LEUNG has calmed down a bit and begins to fall asleep. SUM calls ON up to confess that she has made up with LEUNG. ON tries to pull himself together and carries on dating CHERRY. PO gets to meet KAM in secret, during which he reveals that he has offered to take on a debt of HK$200,000 for his girlfriend and is under serious financial pressure. He turns to KAM for help but is rejected straight away. LEUNG tries his best to make it up to SUM but what he did before has already left a deep scar on her.
