Manolis is leaving to take over the estates of his uncle in Messara. Anna loses all hope but rejoices when her husband tells her to go together to visit him. Eventually, Andreas goes by himself and finds his cousin. Anna can not contain her frustration in front of her in-laws and argues with her husband when he returns from Manolis.
